QyoTech ("we", "us", or "our"), based in Noida, India, operates the Zingo Vendor mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
By downloading, registering, or using the Zingo Vendor App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and cease using our services.
Data We Collect

- Email address and mobile phone number
- Business name, type, and registration details
- Profile photo (optional)
- Government-issued ID or business license documents (for verification)
2.2 Business & Transaction Data
- Store/outlet name, address, and operating hours
- Menu items, pricing, and product catalog
- Order history and transaction records
- Payment settlement and bank account details (for payouts)
- Ratings and reviews received from customers
2.3 Device & Technical Data
- Device model, OS version, and unique device identifier
- IP address and network type (Wi-Fi / mobile data)
- App version, crash reports, and performance logs
- Push notification tokens (FCM token)
2.4 Location Data
- Precise GPS location of your registered outlet(s) (used once during setup)
- Approximate location for zone/area assignment (optional)
2.5 Usage Data
- App screens visited and features used
- Session duration and interaction timestamps
- Order accept/reject times and response rates

How We Use Your Data
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Account management: Creating, verifying, and maintaining your vendor account.
- Order management: Receiving, processing, and displaying orders from customers to you in real time.
- Payments: Calculating earnings, processing settlements, and generating invoices.
- Notifications: Sending order alerts, promotional updates, and operational announcements via push notifications and SMS.
- Platform safety: Detecting fraud, preventing misuse, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
- Customer support: Resolving disputes, responding to queries, and improving the vendor experience.
- Analytics & improvement: Understanding usage patterns to improve App features and performance.
- Legal compliance: Meeting obligations under applicable Indian and international laws.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We share your data only in these specific circumstances:
4.1 With Customers
Your store name, address, menu, ratings, and operating hours are visible to Zingo customers on the platform. Your personal contact details are never shared directly with customers.
4.2 With Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party vendors who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements:
- Google Firebase — Authentication, database (Firestore), cloud functions, crash reporting (Crashlytics), and push notifications (FCM).
- Payment processors — For settlement of earnings (details provided during onboarding).
- SMS/OTP providers — For phone number verification.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your data if required by law, court order, or government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of Zingo, its users, or the public.
4.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity, and you will be notified in advance.
Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary:
- Active account data: Retained for the lifetime of your vendor account.
- Transaction & order records: Retained for 7 years for accounting and tax compliance under Indian law.
- Deleted account data: Personal identifiers are anonymised or deleted within 30 days of account deletion. Transaction records may be retained in anonymised form for legal compliance.
- Crash logs & analytics: Retained for up to 90 days.

Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS).
- Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption via Firebase / Google Cloud.
- Access to production databases is restricted to authorised personnel with multi-factor authentication.
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments are conducted.
- Firebase Security Rules enforce that users can only access their own data.
Your Rights
As a user of the Zingo Vendor App, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update or correct inaccurate or incomplete data via the App settings or by contacting us.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for optional data processing (e.g., marketing notifications) at any time via App settings.
- Complaint: Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction.

The Zingo Vendor App uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

Children's Privacy
The Zingo Vendor App is intended exclusively for business use by adults (18 years and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@qyotech.in.
App Permissions
The Zingo Vendor App requests the following Android permissions:

You can manage permissions at any time via your device's Settings → Apps → Zingo Vendor → Permissions. Revoking a required permission may limit App functionality.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
- Notify you via the App's in-app notification or a push notification for material changes.
- Where required by law, request your renewed consent.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
